What made you want to get into the
acting business and how has it changed your life?
Ethan Dampf
Well, When I was born the movie junier came up and my mom
got me into the movie and i'v just been acting ever since!

what was your favourite part of being on American
Dreams?
Ethan Dampf
My favorite part was being with the people everyone was
really nice.

was it weird being on a show (american dreams)
which was set in the 60s?
Ethan Dampf
At first it was a little weird, but then I got used to
it.

Can you see yourself acting as a career choice or
are there other things you want to do?
Ethan Dampf
Yes, I really want to be an actor when I grow up, But I
never know if something might come up.

Ethan, what kind of roles do you like doing the
most, such as comedy or drama?
Ethan Dampf
Well, I really like comedy roles because it gets funny,
but I think I do better with drama.

Heya, Ethan. I have about 2 Qs :D. #1 is How many
movies were you in? I didnt count :P. #2 is Everyday do movie directors
call you or something and ask you to be a character of one of there
future movies?

Hi Ron, for #1 I was in 3 movies and 1 t.v. movie for #2
no my agent calls me to tell us if there are any auditions.

You are still young actor, so your parents need to
be very important for you. Do they help you alot?
Ethan Dampf
Yes they do mostly my mom drives me to auditions and i do
get coached on lines from my mom or my coach

I know May 27th (which is also my birthday) is two
months away from now, but do you have anything special planned for your
12th birthday? And what do you think you will be asking for?
Ethan Dampf
No I don't have anything planned yet and I
haven't really
thought of what to ask for, sorry.

Will Estes was a former child actor, did he give you
any good advice?
Ethan Dampf
Yes he did give me some advice, but I would mostly just
see what to do watching him.

Is Johnny Damon still your favorite athlete even
though he's now playing for the evil New York Yankees?
Ethan Dampf
Yes he is still my favorite, but i'm mad that he switched
to the Yankees!

Which was the hardest part (role) you
have ever done?
Ethan Dampf
the hardest role i've done was the role that I had on
DADDIO because it was hard not to laugh!

Can you describe to us a typical schedule for
your normal day?
Ethan Dampf
Well, i get up in the morning I eat breakfast get ready
for school, then i go to school, then I get picked up from school, I
might have a audition and if I dont I go home and do my homework and
stuff like that read, then before I go to bed i take a shower and then
go to sleep around 10 on a school night I have to get up early (which I
hate)

I am usually a normal kid, but sometimes i get busy or I
have an audition or something.I like being normal, its fun.

What is it like seeing yourself on tv?

Its pretty cool seeing myself, but sometimes i'll think I
did something wrong and messed it up.

What is your favorite thing to do on
your spare time?
Ethan Dampf
In my spare time I like to be with my friends, or go on
the computer or go on roller costers a six flags, that stuff.

No, I act normal, at least i dont think I do?!

Well, there might be somehing that I get a callback for
but otherwise its just auditions.

How were the auditions when you tried out for
the role of Peter for A Christmas Carol, was there a lot of competition
for the part?
Ethan Dampf
I only saw 1 other kid their for the part, I dont know if
there were any others , but it wasnt hard to get it.

if you could pick any role in any movie or tv
show, what would it be?
Ethan Dampf
I'm really not sure, I dont really see anything I would
want to be in, sorry.

your own films, would you like to try out directing in the future?
Ethan Dampf
Yes, I would want to direct or edit.

There are some things that you can only learn
from experience, so what is the biggest lesson you've learned about your
career up until this point in time?
Ethan Dampf
I've learned that its better to make eye contact to make
it more real.

Do you find there is a huge difference in stage
and tv acting? and if so which do you prefer?
Ethan Dampf
Yes their is a difference not huge their both acting just
one is live so you cant mess up or a least try not to, i like tv acting
just a little better, its just what im used to.

Do you get to travel a lot? Is there any place you'd
really love to visit?
Ethan Dampf
I travel sometimes for vacation, but not a lot and i'd
love to visit Mexico.

Your sister is also acting, are you helping each
other? How your parents react about having both kids as actor?
Ethan Dampf
Sometimes we help each other, and its harder to have two
kids that are actors because if we both have an audition then we have to
rush to get to another audition.

Who's an actor or actress that you'd like to star in
a movie with?
Ethan Dampf
I'd like to star in a movie with my sister because we've
never done one together.

How long does it normally take you to memorize
your lines for an audition or taping?
Ethan Dampf
It doesnt take long for me, its easy for me to memorize
things it my take an hour or so.
